I am saddened that the police simply stand down. Most officers believe in law and order and want to help the public. Yet, they stand silently while a horde of thugs, many not even from the local area, destroy the life of a city. Perhaps the police have learned the lesson of Baltimore - if you do your job you will be prosecuted. So, it is better to just turn away.

The Boomers are spoiled in their old age, but they were extremely productive throughout their working lives. The Millennials are spoiled from the start. The Boomers grew up when they were teenagers. They married at age 18, had a bunch of kids by 25, made the sacrifices, accomplished the various missions that life throws at them. A typical 30 year old Millennial is about as responsible as a 13 year old Boomer was. When do they plan to grow up? Their leading edge is about 34 years old right now!

My source is history. Have you actually seen 70 years of tribulation for the USA? Our greatest economic tribulation was a year of gas rationing in the 70s and a couple self-inflicted injuries when various bubbles burst.
