Unfortunately, this idiocy is happening in areas that the local government and police departments (at least the leadership of them) are leftists, and on the side of Antifa and the other lunatics.
They won’t enforce the laws, and the Feds will be reluctant to send in federal law enforcement without cooperation of the locals.
And if us conservative civilians do anything, even defend ourselves, WE are the ones that will be arrested.

Mid 2020s. It takes people a long time to work themselves up to full on organized mass violence. Low level leftist violence and their deep state enablers(Read the media, Universities, and Federal government) will continue to grow until all out war breaks out. It’s coming though. The left is going full Marxist and it will be a war worse than the Spanish civil war. When fighting Communists you either kill them, or they’ll murder you, your entire family, and the nation you love. There’s no half measures if you want to survive.
However, if Trump can ever get control of the DOJ and stack with real Trump supporters he’ll be able to arrest and lock away all the people pushing us towards war since all of them committed many, many crimes. However, that’s not looking terribly likely.
On the other hand if the Trump is arrested by a deep state coup then the war will start almost immediately.
Civil war was all about states rights vs federal gov rights. They added slavery to get public support.
Hopefully it never happens....I prefer bloodless civil wars via elections

There will be one: alive-but-dying person who is qualified as a sniper. This person will probably not have any Christian convictions whatsoever. This one will research and stalk: an antifa agitator, a district judge who has been viciously anti-Constitutional, a bureaucrat who has legislated from her office, a state/county/local/school-board individual, who has gone off on conservatives as though we were nazis. That person will be offed from a great distance. Then others of similar stripe will begin to worry where the next will come from.
That is my prediction. It’s not what I want; it is what I predict will begin happening. The shooter will probably have some terminal illness, and will have had battlefield experience having done the same.

This would be the first Civil War. The 1861 war was a failed war for independence. A civil war is a war where two sides try to take over a nation by violence. The 1861 war was horrible, but the bloodshed in a true American civil war would be unimaginable.
