Mexico is a pressure cooker with the pressure valve knocked off because the “moderate Mexicans” have always been able to escape their s-hole country for America.
The problem is now all the water has boiled away and the bottom of the pressure cooker is glowing red hot.
There could be pressure for Mexico to change, but all that pressure escaped long ago leaving only savage cartels and those who put up with the corruption left to fend....

Look Grace, I can accept some of what you are saying, but you’re leaving out quite a lot.
We simply cannot label a large contingent of the illegal aliens as “moderates”.
Killers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, drunkards, machismo driven persecutors of women and children, were not a plus in Mexico and certainly aren’t here.
Mexico has problems. Only Mexicans can fix them.
They’re not going to do it, by coming here, and we simply do not need them.
If they want to come up and work seasonally for farmers, I think that is a reasoned discussion to have.
Anything else, hell no.
Of course this does leave out legal immigration, and if they go through the process and abide by our laws and customs, then I welcome them in limited numbers.
Mexican citizens should get no preference when it comes to admission to the U. S. over any other nation on the planet.
I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I often wonder if the globalist plan is to install a communist President in Mexico so that people “fleeing” Mexico to the USA border are treated as refugees from a Communist regime. The Dems can howl about how we accepted Cuban refugees no questions asked ... again, just something I suspect from the party of scum and villainy.

It wouldn’t shock me in the least to learn that most of the left and GOPe are bought and paid for by drug cartels. Cartels sit on billions of dollars in pretty much untraceable cash.

They don’t make much cash off that these days ... all of their money comes from heroin ... coke would be a distant second. Weed is more than likely 5th or 6th place behind drugs like meth and ecstacy.

Does anyone have numbers for revenue to Mexican cartels for various drugs? I somehow just can’t see that pot would be their preferred export: Per dollar it is easier to detect, harder to transport, etc.
