When parsing the menu at the new restaurant, the wife and I have a guideline that says oh, that item has bacon, must be good!

There IS such a thing as bacon candy....and it’s GREAT!

Well, since you mentioned it:
Using a skillet (I like my T-Fal) go for very low heat. 2/10 on an electric stove.
Some butter,
Then some white sugar
Now add a little cinnamon.
Get that melted into a slight glaze.
Add in your chopped bacon. Or Pecans. Or both.
Keep the heat LOW. Or you’re going to have a burned black ball.
As it tightens up - you’ve got yourself some candied bacon and or pecans to use on chicken, etc.
