MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A 12-year-old Ohio boy's summer vacation was anything but exciting until someone called police on him for doing his job.
Reginald Field started a business cutting grass for his neighbors, but his service at one customer's house resulted in a 911 call.
Fields said everything was going fine until his customer's neighbors called the police, claiming the teen had mowed part of their lawn.
"They said I was cutting their grass," he said. "I didn't know it."
The neighbor told authorities that the teen and his crew had cut a portion of their property and were in their yard.
Fields said he became discouraged after the incident, but then the customer decided to post about the incident on Facebook.
The post received thousands of views and hundreds of shares, and with it, a business boom.
Now, Fields is receiving a lot of support and requests from new clients.
"Just give me a call," he said. "I will be there. On time."

Found another story on this young guy.
what a butthole. how about going out and saying to the kid where the property line is
Some serious idiots in the world, yo......
Or pay him to finish your yard too!
The complainer’s yard must’ve needed mowing. He should be grateful for the free work.
This was not an emergency by any stretch of the imagination. These 911 abusers need to be heavily fined for obstructing an emergency service.
Sorry....The kid should have found out himself before he began cutting from the people whose lawn he is supposed to cut. He’s not a little kid chasing a ball. He’s destroying property.
Funny, years ago, those folks would have just walked out and talked to the boy.
They must be liberals.
I love the way the whole family pitches in. They raked/swept the clippings! You can tell there is love in that family.
There are some elderly who have outlived their manners. This crabby old fart has forgotten that it is the duty of elders to encourage and teach the young who will follow them. Fortunately, other kinder folk stepped it to do this for the young entrepreneur, and the story has a happy ending.
LOL...... This young man is going to get rich soon.
I know about property line wars with jerks only too well.
That was in another age. In this one, too many of us 8-year olds who go running to the teacher to rat on another kid who made a simple mistake.
Because every blade of grass cries in pain when you cut it. Rats and snakes need havens in suburbia.
I hear you, but I would have been glad that he cut my grass ...... and given him a little cash.
Sounds like a couple of my former neighbors.
Worthless d lovers.
That is very true. Thank you.
I hope ‘the neighbor’ got billed for the frivolous emergency phone call.
What a jerk.
You are a worthwhile person
