I think Uncle Joe was advocating the use of a double barrel. This Maryland shooter used a pump. Don’t know the make, model, guage, etc. However, I do know that the pump is the most popular shotgun in circulation, millions of them out there. Actually, I expected The Left to go after buckshot instead of the gun itself. But, missed that one.
And a pump shotgun is less automatic than a revolver. and for at least one shot less automatic than a double barrel shotgun. I believe some would say it is easier to reload a double barrel than a pump. And the guy reloaded. In any case, for him to reload a pump is not like putting in a clip or even reloading a revolver.

You assumed too much knowledge on their part. They don’t know the difference between various shotgun loads.
Don’t laugh, in Australia they banned pump shotguns with the stroke of a pen.

Seems like our great-great-grandparents referred to them as "trombone action" guns; maybe if we re-adopt that name, the Progs will leave them (and the owners ;^) alone, figuring they're used for musical purposes...
