A “freedom rally” in Portland, Ore., coordinated by the right-wing group Patriot Prayer was cut short Saturday after some of its supporters clashed with anti-fascist (antifa) counter-protesters.
The event began without incident until after 6 p.m., when members of Patriot Prayer took to the streets following their gathering in Portland's Terry Schrunk Federal Plaza, the Oregonian reported.
Patriot Prayer's organizer is Joey Gibson, a U.S. Senate candidate in Washington state, the newspaper reported, adding that the group is based in Vancouver, Wash., located just across the Columbia River from Portland.
Tensions escalated as the two groups heckled each other, the report said. Antifa members began lobbing eggs, half-empty water bottles, and firecrackers. Others in the crowd lit firecrackers and smoke bombs.
Police eventually declared the gathering a riot, revoked Gibson's permit, and ordered protesters to disperse. Police warned that non-compliance would lead to arrest.

Portland is a leftard cesspool. This sounds like a classic setup. Auntie Fae starts a fight and then the police call it a riot and rounds up the Patriot Prayer-niks and let Auntie Fae’s minions off with a warning.
Those taking part in the legal demonstration for which a permit had been issued, were punished because the cops refused to protect it from the antifa scum who came to commit violence.
At least the patriot prayer group had a permit so they should be oka...... Oh, Portlandia. Never mind.

Here’s what I want to find the answer to: Did the Antifa obtain a permit to mount a counter protest?
If not, what they did was illegal. Not only that, the Cops should have been there PROTECTING the party that legally obtained the permit.
If Antifa did obtain a permit, who was the idiot who gave them the permit knowing that the Patriots would be marching in the same area at that time?
Antifa should be declared a terrorist organization.
So who got arrested? Story isn’t clear. Given this is Portleftia, I suspect only the people with a legal right to be there got arrested and the Antifa fascist scum got a pass.
