I remember first seeing this stuff on TV shows like "Bold Journey" back in the 1950s, documentary footage showing really demonic rituals, almost worshiping or appeasing Death.
And on Good Friday in some locales, they will have a villager nailed to a cross and parade around with it—bizarre stuff from the land of the skull thrones.
But then again all cultures are equal. </sarc>
Seems like a natural fit. Bloodthirsty cults are very popular south of the border.
Me, too. In fact about 10 yrs ago I took an art class and told my prof that Europe better hide the originals of their art.
Might just be returning to their roots ... remember Spain was “Muslimized” for centuries. Could be bad DNA/genetics surfacing.
Control over sumissive women, having multiple wives is very attractive to Hispanic men.
