Ex-Secret Service agent files $1.5 billion RICO case against Clintons
World Net Daily ^ | July 1, 2018 | WND Exclusive

Former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne has filed a mega-RICO civil lawsuit against Bill and Hillary Clinton, their foundation, John Podesta, Media Matters, David Brock and even George Soros charging they are involved in an epic criminal conspiracy against him because of his role in the impeachment and his authorship of a tell-all 2016 book called “Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate.”

But he’ll have his work cut out for him. The judge assigned to the case in D.C. District Court, Paul L. Friedman, is a Bill Clinton appointee.

I know, I know...consider the source. But anything against the Clintons is a "feel good" for me. A very good video with Hannity at the source, and of course Gary Byrne IS trying to sell his book, so take it for what it's worth.

I can envision the following. Hillary screaming at Slick: "You IDIOT! I told you we have to be prepared for this kind of shit! But, NOOOOO.. (ZING! ashtray) You said it costs too much to keep one of our hit-men on retainer! (ZING! lamp)

“...The judge assigned to the case in D.C. District Court, Paul L. Friedman, is a Bill Clinton appointee...”

Conflict of Interest...

Different judge should be assigned...If not, good grounds for appeal of the decision...

Best to get your affairs in order Gary. Life insurance, last will and testament, etc.

And be very careful who/what firm you hire to protect you and yours.

Yes, this is delicious, and about time.
Judge needs to recuse himself or be removed from the case somehow.
Of course, another Clinton supporter may take his place.

This will get tossed out. The ole “has no standing” excuse will be used.

My lonely crusade is to de-fetishize lawsuits around here. They’re not the magic bullets they’re supposed to be. First you can slap whatever number you want onto them, so if you see them described by dollar terms you should avoid getting taken in by the label. Second, only the government can bring true RICO claims. Third of the claims are RICO-like, the plaintiff probably doesn’t have standing. Fourth, even if the plaintiff has standing, there’s proabavly statute of limitations problems with at least some of the claims

What an awesome reply! You should make a little macro so that whenever someone posts about a lawsuit, your post gets pulled up and attached to their post.

If this guy dies unexpectedly, we’ll know he was on to something.

Charles Ortel has a lot to say on the Clinton Foundation.
Including a twenty four page summary describing its charity fraud.

I think he made one mistake saying the stress level is causing him to want to take breaks sitting on a park bench in a lonely area of Fort Marcy Park.

At the presentation of The Honorable Charles R. Richey Equal Justice Award from George Washington University Law School, ALI Secretary Paul L. Friedman... told the audience that when he allowed John Hinckley Jr. to take trips out of the hospital with his parents, “the hate mail he received was serious enough that he and his wife briefly got extra protection from the U.S. Marshals Service.”

His more recent decision (in July 2016) to allow Hinckley to live full-time out of the hospital didn’t receive as much negative feedback as he expected. “Thirty-four years after the event, any other patient at Saint Elizabeths Hospital, except one who tried to kill a president, would have been out a long time ago,” said Judge Friedman.

This was breaking news about two weeks ago. For reasons that I explained back then, the RICO claims will not survive a motion to dismiss — and this has nothing to do with the politics of the judge.

I take no stand on whether this individuals pleadings are sufficient to demonstrate the "proximate cause" required to pursue a RICO claim. However, individuals can pursue civil remedies under RICO 18 U.S. Code § 1964 (c) Any person injured in his business or property by reason of a violation of section 1962 of this chapter may sue therefor in any appropriate United States district court and shall recover threefold the damages he sustains and the cost of the suit, including a reasonable attorney’s fee, except that no person may rely upon any conduct that would have been actionable as fraud in the purchase or sale of securities to establish a violation of section 1962. The exception contained in the preceding sentence does not apply to an action against any person that is criminally convicted in connection with the fraud, in which case the statute of limitations shall start to run on the date on which the conviction becomes final.

WRT statute of limitations, his claim is that the conspirators retaliated against him for publishing a book that injured Hilary's chances of winning the presidency. At least that claim is recent.
