Apple has announced a new “midterms election” feature for its official News app, which will feed users election content from a cherry-picked group of left-leaning and establishment news outlets that the tech giants considers “trusted sources.” Instead of letting users decide what news they want to see on their phones, Apple confirmed that it intends to deliver exclusive news and opinion to their users that have been “curated by Apple News editors from trusted publishers.”
“Today more than ever people want information from reliable sources, especially when it comes to making voting decisions,” said Lauren Kern, editor-in-chief of Apple News. “By presenting quality news from trustworthy sources and curating a diverse range of opinions, Apple News aims to be a responsible steward of those conversations and help readers understand the candidates and the issues.”
Despite promising a “diverse range of opinions”, only one conservative news source, Fox, is mentioned as being part of the program.

Then ban Fox for a while and buy it to “reimagine” it as farther left than MSNBC and run by a board led by Joe and Mika.

They’re all pushing to be government regulated which supposedly would force “equal time”, but really, why can’t they just stay out of the fray and let the cards fall where they may. Methinks there is an illegal leftist “money trail” involved in this somewhere.

We should push back. I do not like it that if I accidentally click on a news feed, it is almost all leftist bilge, and that if I want real news, I have to look for it myself.
I wonder if it would have an effect if every person who is fed leftist swill in a news feed would complain to yahoo or msn or whichever organization is “curating” the swill.
The fake news is fighting back against being called out; we need to fight back even harder.
