Hate to hurt anyone’s feelings, but there is only ONE faith that matters, all else are false.

NO one comes to the Lord accept those who come through Christ Jesus. All else is but false god’s created by Satan to lead you to hell.

On the bright side, it cleaned the streets.

It washed all the scum off the streets.

For those in this country who got their ‘education’ within the past 40 years—— ‘48” = 4 feet’.

It might be said that it is unfortunate it didn't break IN city hall to clean out the corruption and human debris running things there.

But...it’s a FOXNews report so it must not be true...!

Reading other FReeper stories of Philly street leaks reminds me of driving along Delaware Ave, heading to I-95 (during the years when 95 did not go through Center City).

I was returning home late night to Tacony/Mayfair after classes and being with the future MrsProv1322. Witnessed a PGW MANhole cover floating and wobbling a few inches above the street level. And no (at that moment) I was not under any influence...other than love...! (46 years in 12 days!)

A growing problem: Always more for welfare but skimping on infratructure.

On the 3rd of July, the town floods. Well, such is life. I hope that historic old city is not impacted, what with it being the place the Declaration of Independence was signed and all.

Karma! after their big “abolish ICE” rally on the weekend. And so much else Philly needs washed down the drain since the various minority activist groups have taken over City Council.

There goes the famous Philly 4th of July parade, perhaps. Not there anymore. Glad of it.

Had a water main break in our block 30 years ago at the intersection of our narrow street and an even narrower street down the block. Destroyed my furnace, washer, dryer and many stored items. State Farm wouldn't pay. Water company listened to everyone's pipes who had flooded basements, and promptly ordered the repairs of all our so-called pinhole leaks in the house pipes that connected to the main, which they claimed were the actual cause of the main break ten yards away. Right. Probably had a kickback deal set up with all the plumbing companies in the city. That's the Philly way.

“In Kensington, while repairing one, it was found to be a hollowed out log with iron straps.”

That would be cool if it was from Colonial times; less so if it was recent union work.

I guess the moral of the story is if you waste billions on left wing $@#? over the decades, you end up with $@#? in the streets.

Unfortunately, it's everywhere. Add to that insane federal guidelines for dealing with storm water and waste, Around here, meeting guidelines for sewer and storm water have become unaffordable, for communities and for resident's bills.

I wonder if there is an answer.

I’m just curious, but what does that have to do with a water main in Philly?
