Young white Americans are fleeing the Democrat Party en masse following the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, a new poll reveals. The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters between the ages 18 to 34 over the course of the last three months of 2018. This same poll was conducted in 2016 around the same time period.
Young white Americans, in 2016, favored Democrats over Republicans in 2016 by a 47 to 33 percent margin. Since Trump’s election — and his booming economy which has secured high-paying jobs and record job opportunities — young white Americans’ favoritism for Democrats has disappeared.
Today, 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Republicans, while another 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Democrats.

Overall, the poll revealed that Democrats are losing young Americans in general. For example, before Trump’s election, 55 percent of young Americans said they favored Democrats over Republicans. Today, that margin is down to only 46 percent of young Americans who are still loyal to Democrats.
Key to Trump’s election was the issue of mass illegal and legal immigration, wherein the United States admits more than 1.5 million immigrants every year. As Breitbart News reported, a majority of white Americans say immigration to the U.S. has made life in America “worse.”

Not worth validating the headline. The emphasis on “white” is designed to stranglehold the narrative of the party’s future as confined to racism and therefore on its last leg as a more diverse America inevitably emerges. The real truth is that Trump could not have won had only ‘blue collar’ (who are all racist according to the media) white people supported him. He has had broad support.
Also, the Democrats have turned their backs on white working class people in this country and are encouraging black and brown hatred towards whites. Who can blame them for leaving the party!

The Democrats are the party of hatred. Self-hatred being among the variety them.
In the South, the Democrats are a black and brown party.
That’s why they’re in the minority. They hate while people but they have a pathological hatred of white men.

still, given how nutty the Dems have made things, one never knows whether rational self-preservation even exists anymore amongst their own membership or whether and how many folks are paying attention.
this poll seems to indicate that folks (at least many) are indeed both paying attention AND that self-preservation is still active in many ... it’s particularly gratifying that such seems to be the case in particular with many young people, given the massive amount of SJW indoctrination they’ve been force-fed in the government schools ...

Immigrants and their US born children drive 80% of the population growth of the country. By 2019, next year, 50% of all children 18 and other will be minorities and each subsequent cohort that turns 18 annually will be more minority and more Dem. Immigrants vote more than two to one Dem.
The Dems are placing their chips on minorities and immigrants to make them the permanent majority party. It is working. The Dems have won the popular vote in 6 out of the last 7 Presidential elections. The demography of the US in 2050 will look like the current demography of CA.

It’s beyond me how any white people could vote democrat. The very root of the democrat party is hatred for white people and hatred for America.
The Obama economy sucked and was especially awful for younger people just starting out in their careers. They got pushed down to being baristas at Starbucks or like the Democrats’ new poster girl, being bartenders. Yes, even those with college degrees.
The economic rebound since President Trump pushed through tax cuts and deregulation has finally enabled many to get real jobs for the first time. Getting stricter about H1B visa abuse would allow many to move up the ladder. At the big bank where I work I’d say literally 1/3rd of the people in the back office are H1B visa holding Indians. They’re cheaper than Americans so the Banks and Tech companies and I’m sure many more companies load up on them. This is an abuse. I have a friend who works for a different major bank in another city and he tells me its the same there. You can’t tell me there aren’t plenty of young Americans who could do those jobs - we’re not talking about jobs that require a masters in computer engineering here.
Clamping down on illegal immigration significantly increases the bargaining power of the working and middle class in this country and will allow them to finally get some significant pay raises.
I predict as the economy keeps rolling along and as we clamp down on the level of immigration, things will continue to get better for many millions of Americans - especially younger Americans - and you’ll see Trump’s popularity continue to rise with them.

That’s why the Democrats demand open borders. They can’t win a majority of the white vote.
They have done the math and without a change in the demographics, they are toast and they know it.
