Well the Russians already hacked our press, why not the election system?

If the Russians set out to sow seeds of doubt in our democracy why did the Democrats double down on it?

Of course it has nothing do with the American people rejecting your party’s communist agenda, right Congressman Quigley?

Impossible! Because Obama said so.

"Somewhere between 20 and 40 ..." is hardly evidentiary.

This is very encouraging.

They’re already lining up their excuses for losing.

Yeah. The Russians weaponized social media. The Russians did it. You betcha.

Somebody's setting up for an excuse after November is what I think.

“First, they attacked our election infrastructure. They hacked into somewhere between 20 and 40 state board of elections, including, in August of 2016, my own state of Illinois.”

I think I would be looking at Cook County Democrats before Russians when it comes to stealing Illinois elections Congressman Quigley. Their blame game is about as lame as it gets.

What they need now are a series of demonstrations across the country to show how sincere they are about governing a country.

Democrats are already planting their narrative why they are trampled in the midterms.

You mean, "We're going to take back your crumbs and give you MS-13 neighbors!" isn't a winning message?

Who doesn't want to be a part of this team?

The Russians have meddled in our elections for the past century or so.

The difference here is that it wasn’t primarily as a boost for Democrats, and it doesn’t appear to have been as large as it was at times in the past. The Russian efforts seem to have clearly been dwarfed by the Mexican efforts.

So it’s ok for British government-funded BBC to spread pro-Dem, anti-Trump propaganda.

Idiots on the Left already trying to set up excuses if their prophecied “blue wave” doesn’t happen...

The evidence of Russian meddling in our election points to them disrupting it in general with fake news and other efforts to divide the nation. Indeed, both candidates were the “recipients” of both plus and negative in their campaign to disrupt.

[A Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee says he is worried that the Russians “never left,” raising the specter that Moscow is looking to interfere in the upcoming midterm elections through cyber or other means. ]

Every time they lose they see Russians in their soup. The mad dash to delegitimize every election result that doesn’t favor them is on. Extremely dangerous game.

Quigley also alleged that Russia-linked hackers breached “somewhere between 20 and 40 state board of elections,” including the Illinois voter database, in 2016 and alleged that states are not prepared for future interference efforts by Russia.

I suspect our lefty pals here are trying to figure out a way to centralize/nationalize state elections in the same way they were attempting to do the same to our police departments. "We're the Federal Government and we're here to help [control] you."

“First, they attacked our election infrastructure. They hacked into somewhere between 20 and 40 state board of elections, including, in August of 2016, my own state of Illinois. They hacked and dumped emails into political parties and individuals. They weaponized social media,”

Are you sure it wasn't the Awan family that was doing tis hacking from the safety of the US capitol? It's just a little hard to take seriously the cybersecurity concerns of the fed gov when it covers up a cybersecurity problem that thrived for years in the halls of congress; it's hard to take seriously the cybersecurity cries of a political party that sees nothing wrong with Hillary running a private server and which couldn't keep its server secure at the DNC and which wasn't treated seriously by the fed gov. But let us assume Russia did hack and dump emails - we know from the Russian propaganda posted here that they are about as subtle as the usual liberal and communist propaganda we see from the CCR, the Open Society Institute, the Sierra Club, Palestinian propaganda, and the Manmade Global Warming crowd... or even ploys for money from Nigerians posing as the wives of fallen dictators and that there are always a set of people on all sides willing to fall for it. Big deal. Just delete it.

Quigley told Michael Morell, host of CBS News’ “Intelligence Matters”

Is this Morell the former Obama official involved in Benghazi? Maybe the first step towards restoring trust in government and the press is to put a wall of separation between them, not to mix them together.

Because the only reason a Democrat would ever lose an election is Russian collusion.
