TEXARKANA, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was in the middle of a campaign stop on Thursday afternoon, walking through a local factory here where workers build custom truck trailers and parts, when an aide suddenly approached with his iPhone.
Vice President Mike Pence was on the line, and for about 15 minutes, Cruz, the outspoken tea party conservative and member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, ducked into a partially shaded alcove seeking shelter from the oppressive Texas heat. And Pence talked to Cruz about an issue that may ultimately consume every bit of political oxygen in coming months: President Trumps looming decision on whom he will nominate to be the next Supreme Court justice.

Mike Pence whipping Cruz. Crack that whip!
Gut feeling is it will be Barrett
“”””The junior senator from Texas has thrown his endorsement to Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, a fellow conservative and close friend “”””
They forgot to add...and a backstabber who was openly a never Trumper and voted for Egg McMuffin.
Yahoo = Fake News.
I don’t believe a word of it.
“GOP picks who were later perceived as disasters by conservatives”
The history has made me leery of picking existing judges.
An Alabama Senate race has made me leery of picking a sitting senator.
Perhaps a Congressman with a law degree can be found. Congressmen have to take publicly-known positions on most issues.
I’ve looked through the list of Congresswomen. The young ones are either Democrats or lack a law degree. So that leads me to Congressmen.
I like Barrett. She was just confirmed on the Court of appeals. She has 7 CHILDREN. She didn’t murder a single one. Pro life !!!
Barrett might want to take a vacation in Maine.
Senators Collins and Murkowski are going to be the ultimate deciders.
I’m not so sure that this is a good sign. IN fact it makes me nervous.
We should hope the administration is worried about Collins and not about trying to pull Cruz on board. They wouldn’t need to worry about Cruz’s support unless they were thinking about backing down and choosing someone more “moderate”.
She had 7 children and had the hired help raise them while she pursued a career.
She will be an anti-family pick and that is not acceptable.
Cruz, who is facing a tough reelection battle in Texas, said he had spoken to the
president several times on the issue of the Supreme Court most recently in a
30-minute conversation over the weekend.

I don’t think the reporter has a clue as to the status of the pending Senator election.
When a problem comes along
You must whip it
“”””She had 7 children and had the hired help raise them while she pursued a career.

My mother had 7 children. No time for a job let alone a career. This woman chose a career over raising her children.
She will be an anti-family pick and that is not acceptable.
........................................................
How exactly will she be anti-family while serving as a justice? Could you give an example or two to express your concerns?
“Lee is an @$$-hole. “
He is alsoa Harry Reid crony.
“She has 7 CHILDREN. She didnt murder a single one. Pro life !!!”
As an originalist, she would not tolerate an federal control of abortion.
As a result, states like California and Oregon would decide, and they would decide to let the carnage continue.
Baby murder will continue.
As a result, Collins shouldn’t mind voting for her.
She’ll be pro-children.
Remember, almost every big case will be a Ms. Pequeña Niña v. Trump appointee.
Read about her kids here:

Also, if you want to see a picture of every child shot & killed by a crazy, just park yourself in front of the Supreme Court.
If Yahoo got the scoop, it has to be true. sarc
