I don’t recall the Saudi’s holding hostage our Embassy, and personnel of that Embassy for over a year. I don’t recall the Saudi’s hijacking our naval personnel, humiliating them for propaganda purposes, nor do I recall the Saudi’s aggressively supporting armed insurrections all over the ME with the intent of dominating the region. I’ve never heard the Saudi’s threaten death to America.
The Saudi’s aren’t pure as driven snow by any means. Yes a percentage of the hijackers of 9/11 were of Saudi origin, but I haven’t read of solid conclusion those persons were supported by the Saudi government. Yes I do think they may have been supported by factions within as the Saudi government was at the time quite extensive, and somewhat decentralized, but no proof has ever been forthcoming.
