Even though, like the article said, only European teams are in the semi-finals, the remaining teams taken together are diverse. Even the all-white Croatian team has players who were born in other countries.

Regarding this topic, I couldn’t agree with you more.
I just can’t watch American football anymore. Just can’t. Was at a college game earlier this year. Nationally televised, so between the normal timeouts and TV timeouts, and the delay between downs and change of possession, it seemed to last forever. I’m not putting down anyone who likes it. Just putting my two cents in.
