Protesters confronted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as he was leaving a restaurant in his home state on Saturday.
The group threatened to vote McConnell out of office as he walked out of the Bristol Bar & Grille in Louisville and got into his car, The Courier Journal reported.
Video recordings of the encounter show other demonstrators chanting “Abolish ICE” and “No justice, no peace.”
A protester demanded to know where the migrant children where after being separated from their families.
“Where are the babies, Mitch?” a protester was recorded asking in a video. The comments seemingly come in reference to the thousands of migrant children who were separated from their parents from April to June under the Trump administrations "zero tolerance" policy.
Trump moved to end family separations last month by signing an executive order, though no provision was made for the families who had already been separated.
A federal judge gave the Trump administration until late Saturday to release a list of the roughly 100 migrant children under the age of five who were detained separately from their parents upon being apprehended after entering the United States illegally.
The newspaper noted that a large rally was held in downtown Louisville on Saturday morning to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
McConnell did not appear to react or acknowledge the protesters, the newspaper reported.
“We did good, fellow citizens,” a protester said as McConnell’s car pulled away.
This is the second time in recent weeks that McConnell has been confronted over the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
McConnell and his wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, were met by protesters while leaving a dinner at Georgetown University last month.
Trump's Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has been approached several times by protesters, while out at a Mexican restaurant and at home, over the zero tolerance policy.

He missed a great opportunity there. He should have yelled back, “You Godless Communists KILLED 50 million of them! That’s where they are.”

McConnell should have answered, “You mean the 60 million babies the Democrats have murdered?”
"You guys aborted them all" Mitch shouted back.

Does anyone know how close these protesters are getting to their targets and are there secret service agents around? It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed. Also, why aren’t t these people arrested for harassment?

(not that I expect Democrats to cooperate) - but then all 51 Republicans? Well maybe I’ll be surprised.....or not.
. . . and when that happens, the morally vile cretins that caused the violence are going to blame DJT.
* They had rallies.
* They went to town halls and redressed their grievances to their representatives.
* Ruckus at times yes, but in one instance I think it was with Dingell where he used his muscle to get a citizen out and or brought up on charges, he was pissed Obamacare really took a dent out of the care of his special needs son.
That is as far as it went.
What they are doing is the same MO all over the country which leads me to believe their is training, and a point of contact or team and the Lear Deader doesn't have his hands on it. What do expect out of a coward.
I am no fan of Mitch, love to see him retire, same as Pelosi, Schumer etc etc. However this is all too much this is not right plain and simple. We live and let live, I could care less about some liberal politician out to lunch ( no pun intended ), good enjoy, leave a good tip and we will take you on in the arena of ideas like we did in 2010 and be victorious. I wish our opponents on the other side of the isle could figure that out as well....

If to them McConnell is a dangerous extremist Nazi Trump monster, then wait ‘til they run into a non-RINO version of the real thing.
They’d better have a fuzzy little blanket to take a nap on or at least a safe space at a school to cry in.
