Post a link to a story that backs up your thesis. I Am not a GP reader but it may be worth knowing a few facts. Is Manafort in solitary? Is this common? From my reading, the prosecutor is walking a fine line.

You will discovervthatbthey take others stories, add a sentence or two, put an outrageous headline like people being tortured to get you to click on it and make them money.

I haven’t clicked on a newsmax article in years. I clicked on that one because I wanted to read what Kerik had to say. Maybe the New York Times wouldn’t publish his op/ed.
Define torture. Solitary confinement may not meet the legal definition of torture. But for someone who is no threat to others and whose alleged crimes appear to be white collar crimes, it could be considered torture. The intent of putting Manafort in solitary seems rather vindictive and intended to provoke a response from someone.
Kerik has some interesting stuff to say. The problem with Agenda websites like newsmax, gatepundit, etc is the slant they put on it. Its little different than nbc, cbs, abc. The only difference is the mainstream media is more sophisticated and subtle in their narratives. Idiots like Hoft are too stupid. Or perhaps they only want the clicks. Hoft probably doesnt care what people think of him or his scam site, so long as he keeps the money rolling in.
I have no idea who Hoft is. I think the last time I clicked on a newsmax story was back during the Clinton years.
I agree that manafort should not have been jailed in the first place.
That issue is a totally separate issue from administering torture. Torture is the intentional infliction of physical pain repeatedly. There is NO evidence whatsoever that jailers are doing this to manafort. Therefore reporting such a thing is a LIE! An outright falsehood.
Jim hoft is the apparent of owner of Gateway Pundit, the dirtbag that put a headline “MnafortBeing Tortured” in jail.
It’ll only be a matter of scandal if he’s acquitted which seems unlikely.
