The Young Democrats of [Mecklenburg County] North Carolina issued a press release threatening violence if the city is selected to host the 2020 Republican National Convention.
“Any potential claim to an economic impact from the Convention will undoubtable be outweighed by the civil unrest and reputational harm we would recieve [sic] from welcoming Trump’s divisive rhetoric to our community,” the release says.
