Muscles in Brussels: how President Trump exposes the Europeans’ double-crossing game
American Thinker ^ | July 11,2018 | Tiberiu Dianu

President Donald Trump exposed in a spectacular way, in front of millions of home viewers, how the Europeans milk money from the United States for “protection against Russia,” while they give millions of dollars for getting supplied with oil and gas from the same, supposedly “enemy,” country.

Trump is not the first U.S. president who brings this up to the European allies. But he will be the first U.S. president who will definitely do something to fix this decade-long anomaly.

Thomas Lifson adds:

Trump's critics that contend he is in Putin's pocket have some explaining to do how this fits into their conspiracy theory. Other than energy exports, Russia produces almost nothing competitive on world markets. That is Putin's economic jugular vein, and Trump is placing a knife on it with this pressure on Europe.

I love this man! This is how these Euroweasels need to be talked to. No one has ever talked to them like this and they’re not used to it. They don’t know whether to poop or go blind. Hutchinson is sitting there like someone peed in the punch bowl. She’s a useless RINO and she’s looking mortified. Trump know’s the score. He knows we’ve been getting ripped off by the Euro grifters for decades. They think we’re a bunch of patsies. No more. There’s a new sheriff in town.

Trump seems to actually be gaining momentum in every sphere of executive aspect as President and Commander in Chief.

If we start moving bases and military forces to Poland, Germany might notice.

Being tough on our allies but all smiles in public has gotten us nowhere. It has also allowed the eurocentric wings of both political parties to assume that all is well when it hasn’t been for a long time.

Exposing Germany’s ties to Russia really hurts. Eastern Europe doesn’t like it. The Russians don’t like it. Germany doesn’t like it. All for different reasons.

So if Germany is chummy with Russia, why do we need to protect Germany?

Trump will have to get concession on NATO defense and trade.

Loony liberals will find a way to call if a ruse, a method of deflection from his chummy attitude with Putin/Russia.
