Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amassed tens of thousands of dollars in credit card debt in part by purchasing baseball tickets to Washington Nationals games, according to a Washington Post review of Kavanaugh’s financial disclosures and information provided by the White House.

Kavanaugh has reported having up to $200,000 in credit card debt during the past 10 years, according to the Post's report. In 2006 — the year he was confirmed as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit — he reported having between $60,000 to $200,000 in debt.

Okay?

I fully expect that lying gutter trash paper The Washington Post to try to #MeToo Kavanaugh before it's all said and done.

His net worth was reported as extremely low.

Do you have numbers? Are we talking "low" by normal people standards, or "low" compared to those who have been running the government hustle for decades?

That’s an average of $20,000 in tickets, hot dogs, beer, etc. per year.

If he used cash, he would now be accused of being a drug dealer or terrorist.

Wow I’m surprised I’m the first one to post this. So with all that debt he should be very popular with the swamp since all they do is spend all of our money and put us in debt they should love him because of this.

Carried debt? or only for a month or two? Have you never had a time where you had a number of big expenses at the same time and put them on credit?

I don’t care how he handles his money, I only care that he makes judgements in accord with the constitution while at work for the country and citizens.

I hardly use cash anymore. My Visa pays me back over a grand a year for using it. I do not EVER keep a balance. I haven’t paid interest on a card for well over a decade.
Life is good.

I presume he paid it back.

Its a nothing burger and there are no conflicts of interests.

Kavanaugh is a sports fanatic but many people like him attend games.

I’m waiting for the fake news media to report something really compromising on him.

It comes out because the liberals have been working overtime to find out everything about this man. And they have their sources.

I used to buy tickets to the Asheville Tourists baseball games. They were the Orioles for a while then back to the Tourists.

It was a cheap date. 75 cents each. Buy a program for a dollar and you had about a 50/50 chance of winning a door prize. It was good baseball and a lot more fun than the majors.

My parents and I have never borrowed for anything but a house. People should save money for emergencies. As I said, he should be confirmed.

I agree. Means nowt. Zot knows what I’d see if I made all my purchases on as credit card instead of my debit card.

Remember the crooked media going through Judge Bork’s Blockbuster account to see what salacious movies he rented? Alas, mostly spy thrillers.
