I was outraged at first. Then I read the article.
While the NYT seems to be trying to cause people to flip out, the description of what it seems he’s asking for manpower to do is not to vet Kavanaugh, but rather to sort through and collect the requested documents - of which the Democrats have already begun requesting a mountain.

Actual vetting of Kavenaugh should have already been done prior to nomination. This looks like the NYT is just messing with us by mis-describing the effort to vet the *documents* the Senate has requested.
They are hoping that this stunt will slow down the confirmation process. The Senate won’t allow the judiciary to interfere with its sole prerogative, advise and consent.

It’s time for AG Sessions to hold a press conference, where he should announce that Mueller’s witch hunt for more than a year has yielded no evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
Sessions should then UN-recuse himself because Mueller has gone far beyond the original reason for his investigation. He should then announce that effective immediately Rosenstein is fired, his security clearances cancelled and that he will be escorted from the building by security. The following announcement should be that all personnel working under Mueller are fired, along with Mueller, and will be treated in the same manner.
Justification is abuse of their positions beyond the original intent. For Rosenstein, that would include signing fake FISA warrants, withholding documents from oversight committees and, now, asking 100 prosecutors to investigate a SCOTUS nominee.

Rosenstein will put 279 federal prosecutors to look into the record of nominee Kavanaugh Now engaged in a political process like the vetting of a Supreme Court nominee. What the hell is this BS to give Mueller some info to go after him? Kavanaugh will be the next Mueller investigation
