Best ever.

Well I am shocked at our 375,000,000,000 trade deficit with China.

That is almost DOUBLE, the size of the goods, which are facing the latest tariffs.

World record, yet again last year.

Heading for yet ANOTHER WORLD RECORD, this year.

I see it all the time that “Trumps trade war” is hurting farmers, manufacturers etc.

Repeat this whenever you can.......The trade war has been going on for decades. We have always lost. Trump is the first one ever to fight back.

This trade war is the best ever. lol

I've been boycotting Chinese goods for decades. Glad the United States finally decided to support me.

China matched President Trump’s tariffs on $34 billion of goods.

Since the total value China’s US imports is $135 billion, that leaves $101 billion untouched with new tariffs.

China would need to import an additional $99 billion of US goods in order to match the $200 of new tariffs. That would be about a 74% increase in US purchases.

China should pull the trigger and purchase $99 billion of US goods so they can levy new tariffs on it.

I’m shocked that the Chinese didn’t have enough foresight to understand that they cannot win a tariff war against an opponent who imports from them 10x as much as the reverse. Going to be tough to put together a face saving out from a blunder of that magnitude.

“The trade war has been going on for decades. We have always lost. Trump is the first one ever to fight back”

It’s worse than that. Through a mixture of arrogant incompetence and duplicitous self-enrichment those who’ve held the keys to our trade have failed or sold out America and made it possible for the rapid rise of China - at our expense.

We either fight this now, and go through whatever pain it will bring, or we lose the foreseeable future to a totalitarian regime.

It’s really amazing that those people who have been targeted the most by socialist / Communist propaganda, e.g. those in academics and the ‘arts’, are the blindest to the facts and realities of this manipulation. They’ve been useful idiots, but see themselves as the seers and saviors of the world. All as planned.

And it was Hillary Clinton who sat on the board of WalMart, the retail outlet for China. And it was Bill CLinton who gave China permanent trade relations or whatever it was. They, WalMart and China, really took off after that.

I don’t want China to back down. I want the tariffs restored. They served our country well for 180 years. It was a mistake to lower them.

Put them back and rebuild our industries.
Let China sell there stuff to their own countrymen.

You break them by NOT letting them “save face.”

Crush them, don’t coddle them.

Trust me, they think my way. Think “Genghis Khan” or “Sun Tsu.”

Tariffs are tax increases that reduce consumer choice, so I oppose them.
