The agent, Peter Strzok, will appear before a joint hearing of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees at 10 a.m. Thursday. His testimony comes a month after a report by the Justice Department’s inspector general on the department’s handling of the Clinton probe that rebuked the agent for sending messages that “cast a cloud” over the Federal Bureau of Investigation and “sowed doubts” about its work.
Mr. Strzok exchanged thousands of texts messages from 2015 through 2017 with a former FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, with whom he was having an affair. At the time, he was the lead agent on the probe of Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server when she was secretary of state, and later he helped spearhead the FBI’s inquiry into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

That is a very good question.
In any case, bet he takes the 5th.
The trouble with his testimony is, can you really believe anything an FBI guy says these days? They better all bring an umbrella. He’ll be peeing on their legs and telling them it’s raining.

“I’m innocent! I didn’t do anything wrong! After this statement I will exercise my Fifth Amendment rights.”
Hers:
Lisa Page: “I did it because I loved him. I loved him! He said he was going to leave his wife and marry me. He promised.”
Was that worth weeks of anticipation by the media?
This nut job is a committed deep state coup participant. What he says in front on congress will be vague, lies, self-serving and evasive. He has no fear of perjury or prosecution as he is a deep state rat and they have immunity unless they turn on the deep state.
He will say things the equivalent of “the sun does not rise in the east”, and “water is not wet” while looking the congresscritters in the eye.
For once, it isn’t Lisa Page opening her mouth.
I’ll believe it when I see it. In any event, nothing will come out of it.

If he’s gonna plead the 5th, that’s all he can say. He can’t answer anything, no matter how innocuous after that, without waiving the privilege.
My bet is this is going to be a very short hearing.
Agreed, there’s no doubt he will plead the 5th.
If so, that will still make for some excruciatingly bad optics for the FBI.
No matter what he says, watch the Left swoon and label him a “Patriot”.
Yep, he will break his silence, just long enough to refuse to answer.
