PS was the typical deep state swamp creature. He was parsing his words with tremendous nuance.

When he was saying that he had no recollection of typing the text about stopping the President, he also was insisting that he was being completely truthful. Probably because he did not type the text, he dictated it into his phone like many experienced users of SMS (text technology).
