Mass resignation of the top half of the DOJ, blaming it on “harrassment by Congress and the President”??
If that were to happen (I doubt it), the truth would be that it was the DOJ leadership that lost the confidence of Congress and the President due to their protecting internal political bias in DOJ officials actions and their refusal to recognize that Congress has legal oversight over all their activities.
The DOJ would like to pretend it is separate branch of government, separate from the President, whom they work for, separate from the Congress who has oversight over them, and separate from the courts as no one in the DOJ is going to prosecute anyone in the DOJ, for anything. The DOJ and the FBI think they are “untouchables” - cannot be touched by anyone.
