ON THE OTHER HAND fellow Conservatives and fellow Trump voters, I do not believe the U.S. was, under any president, going to go to war with Russia over Crimea. The public post-Iraq and ongoing Afghan war fatigue was just not going to accept it.
Yes, for sure Obama was weak in how he reacted to Putin taking Crimea, as the U.S. and the EU and Nato did 100 times too little, short of going to war. But “preventing” it? I seriusly beieve that part of Trump’s comments is not what would have been realistic under any U.S. leader.
Yes, 0bama was a weak sister and yes, more could have and should have been done short of war.
In foreign relations 0bama was good at cozying up to Muslims but not much else, in my view.
