Donald Trump apologised to Theresa May over an incendiary interview criticising her premiership, and hailed UK-US relations as the “highest level of special”.
After intensive talks at Chequers, an emollient US president showered praise on the “incredible” Prime Minister and said she was “doing a fantastic job”.

I read the article AND heard Trump’s remarks this morning and I didn’t hear an apology (he did say nice things about her, however).
Is this for real? I’m cubical bound and cannot go to that site. but I find it hard to believe.
Finally some friendly press. Most of the media call him abrasive.
I really like him but I'm not sure I'd call him emollient.

Theresa May is a horrendous PM if you look at it from an American Conservative viewpoint.
She is a two face. She has criticized Trump on many, many occasions, often times stabbing him in the back after an important meeting. She is closer to being a socialist liberal than a British conservative. I despise her.

No apology. He blamed the media and claimed he had his own tape of what he really said. I think he needs to release it and show how badly The Sun edited his comments. If, in fact, they did.
