insurers neglect to tell states about unscrupulous medical providers

The report didn’t name specific insurers or states.

So this great report does exactly the same thing it accuses others of doing. Is this fake news? Or clueless news?

Insurers often employ retired or otherwise non-practicing physicians to do their due diligence on individual claims. They are often asked to evaluate fields of practice with which they have no expertise. It's a very flawed system.

When fraud is proven, what happens? I suspect the insurance company is fined and then they go right back and do it again.

I’d like to see a list of individuals that have spent prison time for these crimes. Betcha there are none or it is a VERY short list.

Pisses me off. They are STEALING our taxpayer dollars.
