Cohen’s district is majority black. They will keep voting for him because of the freebies they get in return. Cohen is one white guy that want to be black so bad he can taste it. He’s safe and he knows it. He could gun down 30 people on the DC mall and he’d get off. How do I know that about him? Simple, I live in a suburb of Memphis and have a ring side seat for his bs.

As a Vietnam veteran and awardee of the Purple Heart, I do not accept the fake apology of a completely ignorant and infantile brained asshole in Congress. It is too EASY to say “I’m sorry” and try to get away with it. It only confirms my suspicions that Democrats are a pack of wild dogs in these hearings - they all join in as if possessed with unseen STUPIDITY!!!
But of course, I speak "metaphorically, not literally." I never "literally thought" that Cohen should be subjected to such abuse.

As per Wikipedia about the 9th District of TN:
“It is one of the safest seats in the nation for the Democratic Party, and has not been seriously contested by a Republican in its current configuration. Generally, the 9th is one of two seats in Tennessee that are not seriously contested by Republicans (the other being the 5th district).”
Sadly, it probably is still safe enough for even Mr. Cohen.
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn quite obviously has defective perception, memory, or worse. Fox News was OBVIOUSLY named after two legged female creatures with certain, uh, assets.

I don’t know about his district, but a lot of blacks serve in the military so possibly this could hurt him. You can’t just count his voters that served either, also have to consider that their families would be upset with him for saying this too.
