Report: Mitt Romney Organizes 2020 Donor Meetup for Starbucks’ Howard Schultz
Breitbart ^ | July 16,2018 | Robert Kraychik

Starbucks founder Howard Schultz — who is contemplating a presidential run as a Democrat — recently attended a private gathering of political donors organized by Mitt Romney, according to a report at Politico. Politico’s Ben Schrekinger writes that the donors, “convened by” Romney, were unimpressed with the would-be candidate:

Wall Street analysts are wary, and company leadership is nervous, about the effect a Democratic bid by its chairman emeritus could have on Starbucks’ business, given its bipartisan customer base. If that weren’t discouraging enough, his retirement last month set off a boomlet of pundits urging him not to run. And his recent appearance at a private gathering of political donors convened by Mitt Romney inspired indifference.

Romney is a Republican nominee for a U.S. Senate seat in Utah’s midterm elections, running to replace incumbent Sen. Orrin Hatch’s (R-UT) pending retirement.

Following the arrest of two black men in a Philadelphia-based Starbucks framed as a racial incident by news media outlets in April, the coffee shop chain closed 8,000 of its locations across the nation for one afternoon to conduct “racial bias training” for its employees.

Schultz endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in September 2016 interviews with CNN and CNBC.

“I think it’s obvious Hillary Clinton needs to be the next president,” said Schultz, describing himself as a “life-long Democrat.”

Let him run as a Democrat. That will clear out the Jennifer Rubins, David Frums, Evan McMullins, David Frenches, Mitt Romneys, Bill Kristols for ever, and they will have to figure out how to make alliances with La Raza, the Black Panthers and GLAAD. We’ll take the votes of Joe Lunchpail and those who have more in common with us deplorables.

if he served decent coffee I might have a better view of his candidacy
(but he charges huge prices and serves watered-down, tasteless dishwater. Apparently a very successful business plan but not what I’d want from my government)

Romney is such an unprincipled ass.

I sorely regret having worked for his election to guv in MA—and I hope the corruption investigations can bag this buffoon.

A deal has been cut!
Romney: “I back you for President, you pick a Mormon VP and no one investigates who cut the deal to get the NSA building placed in Utah and who got the kickbacks.”

Being the most hated man in Seattle for selling their beloved Supersonics to Oklahoma City, Schultz would not carry that libtard enclave. He won’t be the nominee anyway, having the personality of a toadstool.

The problem is that Romney changes states about as frequently as you or I change socks. I would think that any corruption he may have engaged in when governor of the Bay State has already passed the statute of limitations. If something did stick, he may be able to claim Mexican citizenship due to his father being born in that country, of course, after the Mexican authorities are duly compensated.

Mitt Romney is the quintessential Bush League Republican.

Utah is so full of Morons, they will elect this guy as their next Amnesty Senator.

No, it wasn’t MA corruption. It was Bain and Bain Capital stuff, including with some corrupt banks in the DC area. His money is dirty and it involved international players.
