Trump backs Putin on election meddling at summit, stirs fierce criticism

HELSINKI, July 16 (Reuters) - Standing side by side with Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump refused on Monday to blame the Russian leader for meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, casting doubt on the findings of his own intelligence agencies and sparking a storm of criticism at home.

Although he faced pressure from critics, allied countries and even his own staff to take a tough line, Trump spoke not a single disparaging word in public about Moscow on any of the issues that have brought relations between the two powers to the lowest ebb since the Cold War.

Instead, he denounced the "stupidity" of his own country's policies, especially the decision to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election.

But Republican Senator Rand Paul defended Trump, telling CNN: "Absolutely I'm with the president on this; the (U.S.) intelligence community was full of biased people."

Who would have guessed that Rand Paul would be standing with President Trump now, with all this incoming fire...and Republicans turning on him?

I don’t trust Putin, but sadly, I trust the CIA, FBI and the rest of the IC even less.

Any time the main stream media and the establishment political creatures go bonkers I am certain that President Trump is doing the right thing. You have got to pick your battles. President Trump knew that it was better to put our “allies” in their place and start a constr5uctive dialogue with Putin regardless of the consequences.

Trump has been lied to by the FBI, the CIA, Homeland Security. Has been spied on, illegally survailed, has been libeled, threatened death by Hollywood and left wing psychos, betrayed by his own party, and daily being maligned by the press........and you wonder why he questions the intelligence community trying to get rid of him on a phony dossier? To be honest, Putin is the only one that hasn't tried to fnck Trump over.

Where’s the list of actions taken by the Rooskies?

Especially those actions that actually had a real impact.

Did any of you hear Trump say he believed Putin’s denial? I certainly didn’t.

As for our FBI and CIA, they’re nothing but liars and communists.

For some reason, I'm thinking with today's developments the left has finally crossed the line.

Some of the comments I'm hearing from so-called political leaders sounds to me like sedition.

And the reason I am thinking this is different, is that I am convinced they're serious now.

I’m still working at trying to understand why the president chose to say what he said today. Maybe it will become more apparent over time. I am purposely understating my concern at this time.

I know that the economy is looking good, with more people working. I know that the border is becoming better protected, in spite of SJW-Judges. The EPA’s power to walk on citizen’s property rights has been greatly diminished. But that joint presser with Putin? I don’t quite know what to make of it yet.

“Where’s the list of actions taken by the Rooskies?”

According to Trey Gowdy, “we” know that the Russians meddled in the election, we just don’t know what they did.

Seriously, he said that. Look it up.

Where’s the list of actions taken to prevent this alleged Russian meddling from happening again? All I see is get Trump. It’s all bs.

The hysterical media has hysterically declared that Donald Trump has been “sparking a storm of criticism at home.”

Criticism from whom?

Ninety percent of Republicans support Donald Trump.

Is there a single Republican Trump supporter who will vote for a Democrat because Trump said something to Vladimir Putin about an anti-Trump operation by the FBI that few people understand except for the fact that it’s an anti-Trump operation?

The Russian/American summit is now over. Unless an hysterical anti-Trump reporter can produce a video of Donald Trump standing in the middle of the Kremlin separating Russian children from the mothers, this media frenzy will end to be followed by another equally foolish anti-Trump media frenzy.

Sad but true.

Who spied on Trump more? Putin or US intel agencies?
Who tried to stop Trump from getting elected? Putin or US intel?

There are Rooskies..

and then there are “Rooskies” i.e. CIA ops masquerading as actual Russian citizens to cover Seth Rich’s taking the data directly from the server and sharing it, i.e. a coverup to discount the data now available and how it was gotten. Forensic analysis shows that in the data transfer envelope contained with the data is s even today impossible to pull that much data unless it is done on a locally attached device, in other words a USB key

Trojan Horse
