Did Trump Commit Treason at Putin Meeting? Here's What Lawyers Say
Newsweek ^ | 7/17/18 | Shane Croucher

Posted on 07/17/2018 6:00:04 AM PDT by sickoflibs

There are many things you can accuse President Donald Trump of. And treason is now apparently one of those after his controversial press conference with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin at their summit in Helsinki, Finland. But do lawyers agree?

“Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’” tweeted John Brennan, the former CIA director. “It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

Brennan’s premise is that at the press conference, Trump appeared to side with Putin over America’s own intelligence agencies on the issue of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Putin denies what the U.S. intelligence community is telling Trump—that the Kremlin used cyberwarfare to undermine American democracy. And Trump, whose 2016 campaign is under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller over suspicions of collusion with the Russian government, seems to believe Putin.

How you can tell those Russian indictments last week were fake is because they were not sealed.

If Mueller and Co had evidence and wanted to try Russians he in court wouldnt have made them public until they were in US custody.

Now he was warned them (assuming they exist which they may not) so they will never be in a US court and Mueller will not have to produce any evidence.

Notice that they seal indictments of those caught here so they don't flee.

It was all a ploy to embarrass Trump knowing that the MSM would characterize indictments as convictions and accusations as facts, which they did.

The timing of the "disclosure" of the new indictments tell the story.

It was a trap.

Deep State spies on a political candidate and never inspected the actual DNC computers.

Our own intelligence community interfered in our election far more than the Russians.

Remember when Obama and the msm laughed at Mitt Romney about his 1980s foreign policy? Pedes remember ...

The treason was committed by all of the participants and enablers of the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

The Constitution says Obama can’t be President.

He is not a natural born citizen.

He told US he was born a British subject.

Natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they only have one nationality, that’s what makes them natural born citizens.

BOTH parties colluded to violate the Constitution.

Those screaming the loudest are the traitors.

Oh they never will get those 12 Russians. There is no extradition treaty (and we don’t want one).

What a REAL Journalists would be asking today, if we had any.

“why did Muller unseal the indictments and make them public, the day before Trump meets with Putin, but has not filed any paperwork to extradite the 12 accused Russians?

Could it be because Muller KNOWS the “secret” evidence he presented the tame Grand Jury he ownes, will NEVER stand up to discovery and cross examination?

Isn’t it interesting since Trump met Putin we hear nonstop hysteria about:

“Shadow Government”

Military “folks”

“Treason”

The projection is astounding.

Dig your own graves.

Yes there is. And the fact Muller has done nothing about extraditing but DID make the indictments public is very telling about just WHO is actually “committing Treason”.

You know these mutants are aiming these media reports and articles for ignorant viewers when you realize that Julius and Ethel Rosenberg weren't even charged with treason for selling secrets for the atomic bomb to the Soviets.

I think the game-plan laid out against Trump has one fatal flaw. There is no extradition treaty existing between the US and Russia. The FBI guys and the Justice Department folks think that this is an amazing tool to prevent their downfall.

My humble belief is that Trump returns to the US, and within the next week...he’s going to appoint someone to be the extradition treaty negoatition guy with the Russians. He’ll bypass the Justice Department and the State Department, and within 30 days...sign the treaty. Then he’ll call Rod Rosenstein into his office and say that a treaty exists....so start to extradite the 12 Russians. Rod will freak out and try to refuse....he gets fired.

So the Justice Department will then be forced into giving Putin all of the accusations, with virtually no evidence. Putin will present this to the public (maybe even via a Twitter account).

Mueller will be standing there in an embarrassed moment with no real direction left.

... he is wholly in the pocket of Putin.

What. Did he give away more American Uranium in exchange for 500 million dollar donation to the Trump Foundation?

Pretty sure I heard POTUS say there was no extradition treaty yesterday and that people should stop freaking out over this thing that didn’t exist.

The intelligence community gas lighters are guilty of sedition, including I dare say that swamp beast Dan Coates that I bet when he says “blinking red light” over the 2018 election means probably the Facebook ads joke or that some crooked Democratic donating Russian oligarch has bought a vote tallying machine and service.

...he is wholly in the pocket of Putin.

As evidenced by the admonition he gave Herr Merkel to buy oil from 'Murica instead of Russia.

When you say Trump disbelieved his intel agencies, remember we’re talking essentially about Brennan and Clapper, and their toadies.

Think what the FBI front office looks like after 8 years of Obama and Comey, and then imagine what the CIA HQ must look like after 8 years of these guys.

Congress has not declared war on Russia, or any other country.

Therefore, no one can commit treason, as defined in the Constitution.
