There is also one geyser in Yellowstone that normally goes off every few years. It has gone off eight times this year. It’s Yellowstone’s largest.

I have no idea what will happen, but it’s not something we can just laugh off, regardless of where the British have freaked out over it for years.

Don’t know. I’m guessing wide. One thing is pretty certain... If it’s going to be a problem, it won’t remain 100 feet very much longer! So it it’s going to be a problem, I would expect updated dimensions on the crack very soon. Otherwise, much ado about nothing!

Well, been dealing with dense vog for almost two months now. It is survivable if the lava does not get you.

If the Wyoming volcano were to erupt an estimated 87,000 people would be killed immediately and two-thirds of the USA would immediately be made uninhabitable.

With all of the disaster movies as of late from Hollywood, I truly believe sone people are wishing this to happen to get their jollies...

Could be?

Don’t we have actual Scientists on the payroll who can predict the fissure/volcano future within 1% of point?

Last time it erupted, it laid incandescent (molten) hot ash south of Amarillo TX.

Yup, Krakatoa was heard 2,000 miles away and, in the worst case, this would be bigger.

Woody Harelson, I think. Who would have thought that the most successful and longest in demand actor from the cast of Cheers would end up being that guy who played the lovable but dumb bartender?

There could be a lot more of those giant Idaho potatoes that they haul around on a flatbed trailer. I’d be in french fry heaven.

Libs would be ecstatic because a goodly fraction of the root cause of earth’s problems would be exterminated. Some libs would be unhappy with the loss of their best ski areas, though.

The continued British freakout over Yellowstone is comical.

><

It’s a big deal to them. 27 Yellowstone National Parks could fit into Great Britain.
