Spent less this year than last year's Prime Day. Most expensive purchase was a Penn surf fishing pole.

I bought some vitamins and a coffee maker. I save about $20. I looked for things I was going to buy anyway.

Didn’t even logon. I find I am buying less from Amazon this year. Next year, I may ditch Prime® altogether.

I was too busy to even notice Prime day. Sales don't motivate me to spend money unless it was something I already had a specific need to buy.

We celebrated by dropping our Prime membership. We intend to really save money, since non-Prime members not only save the new cost of $119, but they also buy less from Amazon throughout the year.

I find Prime Day about as useless as Black Friday.

Most of their ‘bargains’ are things I wouldn’t buy for half-price at a ‘dime’ store.

Cyber Monday, however, does have some good bargains occasionally.

Deals were lackluster aand mostly for entry level or bottom rung products.
I probably won’t even try to log on to buy any normal purchases (if I was in the process of buying something anyway) next year as the site kept crashing under the traffic this year.

It was as if they held a black friday sale in July and then only discounted socks and tricycles.

Aimsurplus did a spoof “Primer Day”, free shipping on all cases of ammo.

I stopped using Amazon and started using Walmart and their free shipping about a year ago.

I went to ebay instead and saved $25. on my $114. and above purchases. I bought 2 vinyl tablecloths for the patio table, 4 plastic canisters, 2x Leather honey (buy 2 get $5. off the second), a cloth tea sock ( for draining tabbouleh) , but I was two dollars off the $114. mark, so I bought a vintage deviled egg platter that came with two little chick salt and pepper shakers for $9.99. There were no shipping charges.

Overstock.com is a neutral to conservative rival to Amazon, whereas Amazon is solidly liberal.
