Nicaraguan national police and armed pro-government civilians laid siege Tuesday to and then retook a symbolically important neighborhood that has recently become a center of resistance to President Daniel Ortega's government.
Government forces began advancing on the Monimbo neighborhood of Masaya city before dawn and had largely regained control of it by the afternoon for the first time since massive protests against Ortega's government began in mid-April.
Youths fired homemade mortars from behind barriers of stacked paving stones pried from streets lined by single-story homes and artisan workshops in the town about 16 miles southeast of the capital, Managua.

Now the same a-hole that ruined the country in the 1980s is doing it again. Just sad.

Thugs. Thugs doing Ortega’s dirty work.
Call them for who they are, you Californicated Press Pimps for the left. F*ck all of you. Pendejos. Hijos de putas.

Something like that might be required at some point, especially if the local government keeps refusing to enforce the law.
Where is that communist front Amnesty International on this?

Thats right...they can get far better deals in Venezuela! ;-)
Yes and after a long difficult, bloody effort to rid themselves of this plague, ortega.the stoopids of Nicaragua voted to return his marxist ass to power,
Sort of like us twice electing the America hating socialist magic negro you get what you vote for.
I’ve seen some of the shows. The people are criminally stupid and naïve.
Too busy agitating for infanticide.
