White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that President Trump will discuss allowing Russian investigators to come to the United States to question U.S. citizens, including a former American ambassador to Russia.
Sanders said during a White House press briefing that Trump is gonna meet with his team to talk about the potential for Russian officials to question U.S. citizens like Michael McFaul, who was ambassador to Russia from January 2012 to February 2014.
There was some conversation about it, but there wasnt a commitment made on behalf of the United States, Sanders said. The president will work with his team and well let you know if theres an announcement on that front.

What’s good for the goose...
That one white male congressman from a district near Pelosi’s was screaming on the idiot box that we were going to “turn over” a former ambassador to Putin.

Former Ambassador McFaul is not “Deep State.” He is nice and kind man albeit uncreative and old-school in his approach to Russia.
Regardless of who is Deep State or isn’t - we should not look to Russia to help us figure it out.
How is this supposed to work... Hello I am Agentsky Ivan, we want you at the nearest Global Police Station?
It is unbelievable how inept the journalists are and how childish and premature the response was from our Ambassador and his tweet Storm. Would not it be smart to keep Putin guessing? That is what I would be doing. Keeping him on the edge of his seat...pushing his buttons and test his reaction. The media is flat out out of control. Idiots!
Letting the KGB interview Weasel Mueller would be fun.
It’s actually required by a treaty which got the Consent of the Senate:

Russia (and the US) can ask for this process at any time, it’s not something that Trump can refuse.
On TV including Fox they leave out the part about id interrogating Russians. When they do discuss it, they immediately reject it as crazy and worthless. This is media induced mass hysteria. I don’t care how much they lie, we can pick up enormous Intel just by meeting with 12 top Russian intelligence officials.
and it’s a 1999 agreement.....seems we had a dem president then......so why are dems unhappy about this now?
Maybe after he does this he can get some arrest warrants out from the DOJ.......
I am sure that the EO has been rescinded by PDJT. Right?
FIFY.
nice addition
How can the government compel private citizens to answer questions for the Russian interrogators?
Exactly - sending out indictments of Russian government bots and then acting like it’s unreasonable to discuss having it go both ways....
