The commander of F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming has agreed to replace a Bible on a POW/MIA table with a generic “book of faith,” according to documents released by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. The MRFF is a militant organization that has fought against Nativity scenes, Bible studies and any outward expressions of the Christian faith on U.S. military installations.
The head of the foundation, Mikey Weinstein, wrote in the HuffPost that he is dedicated to fighting “virulent religious oppression” carried out by “incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

I have several small bibles printed by the US Government for soldiers in WW II, complete with an admonition from FDR to the soldiers to read and heed it.
This is a military commander raising the white flag! Because someone is offended because some POWs read the Bible. These are the men who are charged with defending our freedom and way of life?! This is a major WTF moment for me. I served in the AF and hate to see the PC infestation take over.

It would be more acceptable to simply put ADDITIONAL holy books on the table. Leave the Bible, add a Torah, a Koran, etc.

This JEW remembers the U.S> Navy Captain who had the electrcians rig a special light on the extreme bow so I could privtely, in dress uniform, recite the prayers for The Jewish New Year as my ship sailed north from Hong Kong back to Yokasuka, Japan in 1955.
With only that little bulb the only light in 4000 miles except for the stars, it is to this day the most memorable High Holy day of my life. THAT U.S. Navy did that for the ONLY man of my faith in the crew.

I was talking about the MMRF head, Mikey Weinstein not the Navy. I am also a Jew and USAF Vet. In basic training on Sunday I went to Church so I wouldn’t have to clean the latrines:-)
