The mask is off. The left believes this: If they win an election, they win. If they lose an election, they win. The Deep State, Judges and the Media are their bought and paid for permanent government. The NeverTrump GOPe are the paid off Quislings.
We are living in the matrix my friends. Our democracy is an illusion pulled over our eyes.
This is a declaration that one political party should control the White House. Facism presented as patriotism. Sound like national socislists don’t they?

I moved to the DC area about 30 years ago. Even back then WaPo was called Pravda on the Potomac.
Oh yeah, in exactly the same way the Washington Post has spent years and decades mastering yellow journalism.
Funny how in about 2008 the Left stopped loathing the FBI and CIA, and realized that Dictatorship of Security State Bureaucrats is the best form of government.
Just mere months ago they wouldn’t even say Deep State.
These things are becoming mainstream as the unmasking of the Cabal continues.

Oil and gas pipelines, regional control and profits are more important that living, breathing human beings. It astonishes me how the left has morphed into a war party hell bent on global domination against a Russia-Iran-China axis which may not even exist, but only in their febrile minds.
The left must keep any possible detente with Russia out of deliberation. Alliances shift constantly, but the Deep State of the Left will not allow any threat to their empire.
And that is where his argument fails. The bureaucrat knows his responsibility but decides independently to disobey his instructions. His options are to oppose the decision within the legitimate confines of the organization or resign his position.
And we all know that many of these "patriots" are not acting in good faith. They are not answering to a higher calling but acting in their own selfish interest or political beliefs.
Would the bureaucrat who is frustrating the efforts of Our President be out on Lexington Green, defending our natural rights? Of course not. They might be wearing the red coats marching down the lane or more likely be one of the loyalists spying upon the patriots and reporting back to the British.
These traitors know not what they speak of. They have no loyalty other than to themselves and their selfish cabal hiding in the weeds. Banish them from government service wherever they are found.

What elected representatives of the people are “the deep state” accountable to?
* Almost everyone (R & D) says they president cannot be allowed to direct their actions.
* Their leadership (past and current) insists congress is not allowed to provide oversight except where the deep state is willing to cooperate.
* While congress talks about doing something to assert their right/responsibility of oversight, it appears they’re fine letting a large and powerful government entity act without limits.
The propaganda is when Rs in congress get on TV and insist
* “if the deep state doesn’t cooperate we will impeach/subpoena/...”.
* then “we’ve been saying this for month and we’re really going to do it now.”
* Then “this time we really mean it.”
* Then “Throwing ourselves on the floor and screaming hasn’t helped so now all options are on the table.”.
Maybe the post would prefer a term other than “deep state”, but there’s a big problem here for anyone who cares about the Constitution and government of the people. This group has far more capability than and foreign actors to influence the next election. And it appears they attempted to in the last election and will not cooperate with congress to show that their actions were consistent with the constitution. Believing their weak arguments and allowing resistance to oversight because you agree with their cause is very dangerous.
The post will certainly change their mind if the same “deep state” takes actions to help Trump get reelected. And, as of now, there have be no changes that would prevent them from doing that or allow congress to verify that they did or didn’t do that. And if a Dem wins, he/she will have ZERO credibility with half the country because of appearances the “deep state” helped him/her win - the post should at least be concerned with that rather than sticking with today’s Dem talking points.
Open paper-tiger warfare against this POTUS and those who elected him.

The left is used to fomenting dissent, but I wonder, do they truly understand what a civil war means?
Most live in a La-La Land of hyperbole amidst peace and plenty.
Are they up to a bombed out out hell-hole filled with starving people who kill for any reason just to survive?
If they attempt to remove Trump, I doubt they understand what will happen. The depth of anger toward the Deep State Left which elected President Trump has not abated. If anything, it has grown into a hard as granite resolve.
Opinion writers like Robinson missed the vast majority who voted Trump into power. He, and others like him, continue to dismiss that raw power. It is there, and will not go quietly to drive citizens back to their homes and offices like good deplorable tax slaves to cringe in their cubicles and production floors again.
They are praising their readers.
