Kerry: I ‘Don’t Buy’ Trump’s Walk Back of Helsinki Comments

During a portion of an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation” released on Thursday, former Secretary of State John Kerry criticized President Trump’s press conference with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki and stated he didn’t believe President Trump’s walk back of his comments, asking, “how can anyone buy walk back after walk back, when you take positions here, and then you take positions over here and you’re repetitively walking back and changing?”

Kerry said he found the Helsinki presser “shocking. I found it to be one of the most disgraceful, remarkable moments of kowtowing to a foreign leader by an American president that anyone has ever witnessed.” He continued that the press conference was “a kind of surrender” and “dangerous.”

John FTA Kerry tried walking back his treasonous claims of observing and participating in war crimes decades after he made them before congress during a war.

Kerry's remarks have no weight, since he's an actual traitor and crook.

Oh, by the way, John, look what your pal Danny is doing now...

The Soviet Union fought the Cold War in Nicaragua. Now Putin’s Russia is back.

Maybe Kerry never understood what Pres. Trump was saying in the first place.

I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh's points it has been stated time and time again, and was stated by Senator Vance Hartke when he returned from Paris, and it has been stated by many other officials of this Government, if the United States were to set a date for withdrawal the prisoners of war would be returned.

I think this negates very clearly the argument of the President that we have to maintain a presence in Vietnam, to use as a negotiating block for the return of those prisoners. The setting of a date will accomplish that.

-- John Kerry, testifying before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, April 22, 1971

----------

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This is their latest "impeachable offense" - disagreeing with them is an impeachable offense.

Each time the next impeachable offense is announced with screeching hysteria, it is 100% accepted as impeachable by the same 38% of the country or so. So now they have something like 47 impeachable offenses, but their wheels are still stuck in the mud, as they have been since election night.

They convince exactly nobody to join their movement, and the fence sitters gradually drift to the right, away from the hysterical screaming harpies who appear more deranged every day. They're making normal people nervous.

Has any previous President ever forced Russia or The Soviet Union to confess to any atrocities or crimes, before trying to do business with them? FDR? Atom Bomb Harry(D)? Eisenhower? Kennedy? LBJ? Nixon? Carter? Reagan? Maybe GHWB out of a drunk Yeltsein? Clinton? GWB? Obama confessed everything we ever did and more... Why does anyone expect Trump to beat a confession out of Putin now? Ever? A once, very popular person once said, “AT THIS POINT, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?”

John F’n Kerry who, by the way, served* in Viet Nam, is a washed up has been. Articles by/about him do not deserve to be mentioned on FR.

* John has a rather unique definition of the word served. Look it up.
