Russia wielded an overwhelmingly negative influence on the United States during the 20th century. Given the nuclear arsenal the Russians continue to maintain, forging a better relationship with them seems wise. But for this to succeed the Russians need to drop old habits.
That an agent of the same KGB that engaged in dirty deeds during the Cold War now leads the Russian nation and employed over-the-top tactics to intrude on the 2016 U.S. presidential election flows from the history that preceded. While hints at collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians without any substantiation discredits the Mueller investigation, the part of the special counsels inquiry pertaining to Russian interference seems compelling. In 2016, as in 1936, the Russians aimed to sow discord in the fabric of the American democracy.
After the election of Donald Trump in or around November 2016, Defendants and their co-conspirators used false U.S. personas to organize and coordinate U.S. political rallies in support of then president-elect Trump, while simultaneously using other false U.S. personas to organize and coordinate U.S. political rallies protesting the results of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, the Robert Mueller indictment of 13 Russian nationals charges. For example, in or around November 2016, Defendants and their co-conspirators organized a rally in New York through one group designed to show your support for President-Elect Donald Trump held on or about November 12, 2016. At the same time, Defendants and their co-conspirators, through another group, organized a rally in New York called Trump is NOT my President held on or about November 12, 2016. Similarly, Defendants and their co-conspirators organized a rally entitled Charlotte Against Trump in Charlotte, North Carolina, held on or about November 19, 2016.
Americans should take Russian meddling seriously. They need not take all those carping about Russian meddling

Technically, we haven’t had a “civil war” yet. But nobody seems to care.
My guess is that the Russians aren’t really socialist anymore.
If they were the DNC would have no problems with them, just as they have no issue with ChiCom interference.
Russia is the strongest friend of Christianity — both at home and abroad — in the world today. No wonder everyone hates them so much.
You know what?
If I didn’t read the word “Russia” on the internet, or hear the word “Russia” in the new media, I wouldn’t even know that “Russia” exists.
Russia has about as much impact on my life as polar bears helplessly drifting on melting ice caps on Mars.
Now that’s hilarious!
Amusing that the Russian spies named in the indictment organized both pro- and anti-Trump demonstrations. I fully understand it. It’s a tactic dating back since before writing was invented. Not very nice, but not surprising, given Putin’s KGB background.
“There is nothing the Russians would like better than a second American Civil War. We shouldn’t indulge them. “
And that’s why we should not be letting the Commie Leftists here in America goad us into same. But realize, that that is what they are aiming to try and cause, and have it happen just as we go to vote in November.
We need to watch our backs, but not be provoked. They are going to throw the “kitchen sink” as us in their effort to derail the Trump Train.
Russia is much less a threat to US than the Democrats and the undocumented Democrats wearing R jerseys who want to turn the USA into North Mexico.
12 February 2016
Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC), has issued a statement on behalf of the Council hailing the historic meeting of Pope Francis, pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, and Patriarch Kirill, primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The two leaders met on 12 February in Havana, Cuba.
The Russian Orthodox Church is the largest member church in the WCC...

Catch that? The Russian Orthodox Church is the largest member of the World Council of Churches! (WCC)
That is all you need to know to understand that it is a sham operation. Reverend Wrights fake church United Church of Christ (UCC) is also a member. In fact, his (communist) Liberation Theology was concocted by the KGB.
The Russians must laugh their butts off at how easily westerners can be tricked and deceived.
The Russian Orthodox Church is a member of the (communist) World Council of Churches:

From David Horowitzs FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
Profile: LIBERATION THEOLOGY
...liberation theologys real creator was the Soviet Unions foreign intelligence and domestic security agency, the KGB.
Patriarch Kirill, who today heads Russian Orthodox Church, secretly worked for the KGB under the code name Mikhailov and spent some 40 years promoting liberation theology.
Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking Soviet-bloc official ever to defect to the West, writes: Liberation theology has been generally understood to be a marriage of Marxism and Christianity.
What has not been understood is that it was not the product of Christians who pursued Communism, but of Communists who pursued Christians....
Its genesis was part of a highly classified Party/State Disinformation Program, formally approved in 1960 by KGB chairman Aleksandr Shelepin and Politburo member Aleksei Kirichenko, then the second in the party hierarchy after Nikita Khrushchev.
Adds Pacepa: In 1971, the KGB sent Kirill who had just been elevated to the rank of archimandrite to Geneva as emissary of the Russian Orthodox Church to the World Council of Churches.... Kirill/Mikhailovs main task was to involve the WCC in spreading the new liberation theology throughout Latin America.
In 1975, the KGB was able to infiltrate Kirill into the Central Committee of the WCC a position he held until he was elected patriarch of Russia, in 2009.
Not long after he joined the Central Committee, Kirill reported to the KGB: Now the agenda of the WCC [World Council of Churches] is also our agenda.

North Korea Builds an Orthodox Church
The first-ever Russian Orthodox church will open in Pyongyang, North Korea this weekend.
Its an odd project considering that freedom of religion exists almost exclusively on paper in the closed communist country.
North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il is supposed to be a communist atheist.
So why has he made promoting the Russia Orthodox Church his latest pet project?
On August 13, the countrys first Orthodox church is to be opened in the capital city of Pyongyang.
Russian Metropolitan Bishop Kyrill, second in command within the Church after the Patriarch, will travel to Pyongyang to christen the new house of worship. ...
Christians in Russia have said they are determined to preach the Gospel and fulfill the Great Commission despite tough new laws signed by President Vladimir Putin that ban evangelism outside of churches. ...

Activities as diverse as holding prayer meetings in homes, posting worship times on a religious communitys website, and giving a lecture on yoga have all been interpreted by police and prosecutors as missionary activity, thanks to the broad definition now enshrined in the Religion Law.
Despite a clear predominance of prosecutions brought against those who see their faith as requiring them to publicly share their beliefs, such as Protestants and Jehovahs Witnesses, people from at least 15 different religious traditions have faced charges. ..."
On 6 July 2016, President Vladimir Putin signed amendments to the Religion Law imposing harsh restrictions on the sharing of beliefs, including on where and by whom they may be shared. ..."
The web brigades, also known as Russias troll army, Russian bots, Kremlinbots,[1] troll factory,[2][3] or troll farms are state-sponsored anonymous Internet political commentators and trolls linked to the Russian government.
Participants report that they are organized into teams and groups of commentators that participate in Russian and international political blogs and Internet forums using sockpuppets and large-scale orchestrated trolling and disinformation campaigns to promote pro-Putin and pro-Russian propaganda.[4][5][6][7]
It has also been found that articles on Russian Wikipedia concerning the MH17 crash and the 2014 Ukraine conflict were targeted by Russian internet propaganda outlets.[8][9][10]

Go on Russian social media and you will find a lot of happy people, whether talking about Putin or not. Mostly they like him. The people that don’t are the same globalists and fiends who hate our president.
Russia is no threat at all to us. I was as anti-Soviet as you come. This is a very different nation and leader than what I grew up with. I don’t believe the media on anything else. Why should I believe them about Putin?
I chortled!!!
The US has lots in common with Russia.
Heh....good one.
