About 40 years ago, a top surgeon at Tampa General was murdered while jogging. Witnesses said that a Cadillac drove across four lanes on this well traveled street. It ran over the median, jumped the curb and ran down the surgeon on the sidewalk. Then, without stopping, the Cadillac swerved back onto the road and sped away. Witnesses thought the hit looked like it was done on purpose. This is the surgeon who had operated on me only a month or so prior. No suspect was ever identified.
In this case, my first thought was to wonder if this guy had been targeted because he had operated on HWB. This is the sort of thing that might be provoked by the intemperate statements of Democratic politicians.
Unless somebody got video, which is doubtful, the chances of identifying the culprit are pretty slim; unless he becomes a serial killer.
