Last week’s arrest of Marina Butina, the 29-year-old operative who allegedly wielded sex as a weapon to spy for Russia, revealed not one but two channels into American power pursued by Russian intelligence. We’ve known for a while now that the Russians have attempted to use the NRA, and America’s love affair with guns, to shape the nation’s politics. But Butina’s other “backdoor” was more surprising: the faith community, which she infiltrated through the National Prayer Breakfast.
The annual National Prayer Breakfast dates back to 1953, and every US president since Eisenhower has regularly attended, along with much of Congress, foreign heads of state and high officials. Invitations to the seemingly bland event come on congressional letterhead.
And yet the breakfast is entirely organized by and funded through a private and deeply secretive Christian organization called the Fellowship, known by its innermost members as “The Family.”

I do not recall embracing Putin. He is not a good man.

I was unaware that the “Religious Right” has embraced Putin. I am serious here. I follow these types of cultural undercurrents closely because they are often indicators for future event pathways.
But I had not heard this. What on Earth do they think “The Religious Right” likes in Putin? His cold-blooded bureaucratic KGB thug true self?
I find this assertion by the NY Post puzzling and wrong in its basic premise.
It’s sounding more and more that her real crime was in associating with the right.

No this is not a thing. Putin has political and strategic reasons to comport with some Christian viewpoints. They are in a gigantic population hole from all the abortion they did and the best way to get out of it is to actually act as Christians for a while. The Lord works in mysterious ways, though. If any state would make abortion illegal after it became legal, it might be Russia.

The Left cares not at all about anything but getting smears out about Trump and anyone who votes for him. The smears are supposed to be a non-stop cacophony of negativity until it is seared into the public mind.
It is the old “deplorable” thing. The witch also said Trump supporters are “irredeemable”. That is why we all need to be replaced.
What “Christian Right” and what “embrace”?
This believer has not embraced Putin. The Reagen doctrine remains in place with Putin: Trust, but verify.
You can always tell when they dont have a clue about Christians. I am one and have never embraced putin.. and dont embrace the media, the libs, socialists, obama, dems, .. but our enemy is the media and mueller, and hate from the left.
The “alt reality” branch of Christianity. You know, the one that resides between the ears of the “jouralists” that authored this crap.
That is how I view it-they make it sound like a wholesale embrace by the “Religious Right” here in America.
