To Democrats, the World Is Altgeld Gardens

To understand the left, you have to understand human nature. The strategy of the left is to capitalize on unhappiness. Many, if not most people, are unhappy about something in their lives, and anything you do to better their situation will only result in something else about which they will be unhappy. You can see this in the unremitting criticism of the president, ostensibly predicated on an imaginary collusion with Russia and in the anti-gentrification movements spreading through our urban areas. In both cases, Democrats fan the flames of discontent.

The President

If you read nothing else in the sea of ink this week about Special Counsel Mueller and "Russian Collusion," read in its entirety Dov Fischer's witty and informational article in the American Spectator,"Everyone Is Smart Except Trump," which I can only excerpt for you here.

He begins by making fun of the weak character of Trump's media critics:

It really is quite simple. Everyone is smart except Donald J. Trump. That's why they all are billionaires and all got elected President. Only Trump does not know what he is doing. Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin. The whole crowd at MSNBC does. All the journalists do.

They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up toMark Halperin at NBC. Nor up toLeon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But – oh, wow! – can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

Altgeld Gardens Homes is a Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) public housing project located on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It sits on the borderline of Chicago and Riverdale, Illinois.

It was built by the federal government (Department of Housing and Urban Development) to satisfy the need for improved housing for African American veterans returning from World War II. In 1956, the project was transferred to the Chicago Housing Authority. Located in an industrial area on Chicago’s far South side, Altgeld was named after John Peter Altgeld, an Illinois governor of the 1890s. As one of the first public housing developments ever built in the United States, it has been determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Numerous manufacturing plants, steel mills, landfills and waste dumps—once bordered the 190 acre Altgeld Gardens site.

The residents have a growing concern about the number of deaths annually from cancer and other diseases that may be related to environmental hazards of their industrial neighborhood.[3] In addition, Altgeld Gardens was constructed at a time when asbestos was widely used in construction materials such as insulation, tile and other products. It has been found to be hazardous and in 1980, residents organized a grassroots campaign in the project to advocate for its removal from the complex flats.[citation needed]

“The residents have a growing concern about the number of deaths annually from cancer and other diseases that may be related to environmental hazards of their industrial neighborhood”

Their biggest problem down there is all the flying lead in the air.

“The strategy of the left is to capitalize on unhappiness.”

No.

That is a tactic.

The strategy of the left is to use the fools in the Democrat Party to enrich themselves.

They should be all in favor of gentrication...it brings ignorant but affluent prey in closer proximity to the ‘hood.

Now that I would pay to see.

I would like to see them in a closed room. Just the two of them. Looking through one way glass. Putin is a Black Belt in Judo and would have Anderson crying like a newborn in two minutes.

"The strategy of the left is to capitalize on unhappiness."

This gets us back to government manufactured crisis. Expanding on the idea of the left capitalizing on unhappiness, consider this.

The left has enemies that it wants to destroy politically. So the left manufactures a crisis by convincing useful idiots that they are unhappy and going to die because of something.

More specifically, the left indoctrinates zombie idiots to believe that somebody is trying to screw them out of federal government entitlements that don’t actually exist, the left winning temporary political gain by bearing false witness against the political enemies that they want to destroy by blaming the situation on their enemies.

Something like that.

The pundits parroting criticisms daily is what made Joseph Goebbels so successful. Case in point:

Yes, and don't forget screwing them out of their unalienable right to kill the less-than-convenient baby!

.....the left turns every misfit and miscreant out there into "victims'.....then indoctrinates the zombie idiots into
believing that racist "Republicans" are trying to screw them out of state local and federal government freebies.......

The left gets a temporary political gain...lying about their political enemies helps them destroy the opposition
plus the lowlifes get a lift thinking others are to blame for their ineptitude.

“Is it really farfetched to believe that a lefty politician, who had a history of visiting and supporting Communist and Marxist countries, and their agendas, didn’t receive some support from Moscow?”

Yes, it is really farfetched to believe that a lefty politician didn’t receive some support from Moscow.

Where are all the bleedin’ editors?
