Actually your clearance probably didn't end, unless it also expired at the same time as your retirement.

What you lost at your ending debrief was your accesses.

Most likely you got to sign non-disclosure documents listing the severe penalties for violations. Depending on your accesses you might also have had to sign publishing restrictions and/or travel restrictions.

The clearance is revoked when you leave your job. You are talking about the 10 year or 5 year review period a clearence investigation allows reinsurance without another full vetting.
