ICE officers nabbed 132 illegal immigrants in the Washington metropolitan region in an enforcement sweep this month, including a high-ranking MS-13 member, a convicted child rapist and other serious criminals, the agency announced Tuesday.
The operation, which ran from July 9 to 20, targeted criminals, but U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers said that if they also encountered other illegal immigrants during their sweep they reserved the right to deport them, too.
Of the 132 arrested, 37 will face criminal charges such as sneaking back into the U.S. after being deported.

132 out of the 10,000 illegals who hold down jobs in the DC region. A minor dent in the system.
I could get that many in 10 minutes here if I hit all the Home Depot’s at the same time.
I believe “minor” dents are at least a starting place.

Gee. Just yesterday, the sanctuary Montgomery County NW of DC reported a huge increase in gang violence. I wonder if the county PD is getting fed up with the lib pols in Monkey County.
Remove them ALL!
Removing the criminals first makes sense, but ANY illegal aliens that are encountered should also be scooped up and removed.
It’d be nice to think they are, the sanctuary city pols are sickening.

132? Hmmm... Let’s see, that’s one airplane or two buses. Should we meet at the airport or the bus station to wave bye-bye?
Pardon my cynicism, I confidently predict that a year from now at least 100 of these CRIMINAL aliens will still be in this country.
I’ve been thinking about this re-entering problem. Of course the problem is that a criminal that has entered one time and a criminal that has entered 100 times look the same. How does one know?
Perhaps feral cats can provide the answer. Organizations exist to spay and neuter feral cats to cut down/end the feral cat population. But all feral cats look the same. How do you know if they’ve been fixed? The solution: the end of one of cat’s ears is cut off. Then you can tell just by looking.
Why couldn’t this same procedure, or one like it, be followed with these criminals? Let the threat of having you ear nipped be one more deterrent to criminally entering our country.
I hope they cut up their voter registration cards
