Salvini 'Rejects' EU’s ‘Insulting’ Offer to Pay Italy €6,000 for Every New Migrant....

Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini has rejected an EU offer to pay out €6,000 for every new migrant they take.

Salvini has seen his popularity surge with the adoption of tough new policies to protect the Mediterranean country’s maritime borders and block the NGOs which have been ferrying thousands of illegal migrants to Europe from smuggler boats off the coast of Libya.

the EU has so far attempted to use the carrot rather than the stick against the Italians, attempting to induce them to accept more migrants through financial incentives rather than financial penalties — without success.

“If they want to give money to someone else they can do so. Italy doesn’t need charity,” Salvini declared bluntly. “Italy is not asking for charity handouts.”

He added that, “Over time, every asylum seeker costs between €40,000 and €50,000” — clearly put out that Brussels thought he would fall for the ruse.

Trying to figure out why it is so damn important for the EU to import these under skilled refugees? Is it some misplaced screwed up sense of morality?

Their “appears” to a strange new aligning in Europe.

Joining the east (Poland, Hungary, Czech republic) is Austria and Italy on the no more refugees alliance. While we have the rest of Europe and the UK pushing for more.

Actually all roads lead back to Hillary when she pulled the plug on Libya which destabilized Africa.... Libya was Hillarys war start to finish.....Libya was the ‘cork’ in the bottle of Africa that prevented the movement of people through it to the mediterriania and thus to Europe. Libya policed the mediterriania under Gaffafi and he even warned Europe this would happen.....In all of Africas conflicts the people never crossed into Europe as Gadaffi kept them at bay.

Then Hillary and BO decided to undertake the Assad regime change in Syria....and the Syrians flooded Europe, especially when Hillarys friend merkle put out the welcome mat..... They are all initiators of the Global Agenda to redistribute 3rd world populations to western nations. Soros's dream to force open borders.

Europe's gone socialist so of course they welcomed refugees until they recognized the people going in could and would not assimilate nor would they be grateful. Quite the opposite.....they were making demands even before the arrived and all they demanded they were entitled to... Given that most of Africa's population and the middle East practice Islam, which does not recognize borders and Islamic Law will always trump nation laws.....it was an enormous catastrophe before it even began....and it will continue to be so and increase violence before it's done....which will be never.

Oh, I really had no idea about Libya holding back the hordes of people. Makes sense, since the majority of ‘Syrian” refugees are really from other parts of the middle east.

The EU is not Europe, the EU is a bunch of unelected bureaucrats. Thanks caww.

The EU is about putting political structures in place that can't be dismantled or modified, even by the majority. The EU does that because the EU is a smal, self-appointed ruling class that is only concerned about its own power and authority.
