The mud room is a beautiful color of Wedgwood blue ($2.00 mistake paint from Home Depot), creamy white trim (leftover from sister’s cabinets) and metallic rust red on the doors (another $2.00 mistake paint quart). It conveys the lovely effect of a Cape Cod Cottage and I got a lovely bench at the “Good Deeds” Thrift store for $5.00 that is deep blue with tropical fish painted on it. It is perfect for sitting while removing boots.
The floor is still raw plywood, but I am planning on painting it faux marble using the remnants of the mistake paint, and putting several clear coats on top of that.
Penny LOVES the mud room and the porch. Now I can sit on my porch that is added onto my trailer, play my GEEtar, with my Harley out front and my pit-bull at my feet.
With my LED Survival lantern lighting up the night! :-)

She's adopted us...with her 5 kittens in tow. So I had her fixed on Monday so there won't be any more surprises. Here are the kittens with her...she's the closest one to the camera. She's not much bigger than they are.
