CBS bigwig Les Moonves is facing allegations of sexual misconduct, according to a new report.
The New Yorker is scheduled to publish an article by Ronan Farrow on Friday that accuses the 68-year-old of unwanted kissing and touching more than 20 years ago, as well as some more recent incidents, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The magazine wouldnt comment on the piece to the reporter, but CBS said in a statement that it is investigating claims that violate the Companys clear policies on personal misconduct.
Upon the conclusion of that investigation, which involves recently reported allegations that go back several decades, the Board will promptly review the findings and take appropriate action, the statement reads.
I’ve heard this another Ronan Farrow scalp........................
“And I want my scalps.”
In April 2003, Nancy Moonves filed for divorce in L.A. Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. Nancy and Les Moonves were already living apart. In 2004, although his divorce from Nancy was not yet finalized, Les Moonves began dating CBS' The Early Show reporter Julie Chen.On December 10, 2004, Moonves got a court to grant an early divorce.
Tired of waiting, Moonves' motion cited a "desire to return to the status of being single". Thirteen days later in Mexico, he married Chen. On September 24, 2009, Chen gave birth to a son, Charlie Moonves. Moonves resides in Beverly Hills, California, in a house he bought from Andy Heyward. He also owns residences in New York City and Malibu.
Chen and Moonves.
“More than 20 years ago” would put this back during the Clinton administration so no problema.
Yet another woman-abusing LIB idiot. Hahaha
Violates clear company policy of 20 years ago when they were defending Bill Clinton on the same charges?
He’s making some powerful enemies........................
Rumors seem to point out long term sexual conduct by some of CBS top producers!
They must fire him IMMEDIATELY because of the seriousness of the allegation!! [Heh, heh]
Wow. In this instance, Les is more.
If a woman is sexually abused , she should have to notify officials withing 48 hours for the seizing of real evidence or she should be ignored, by statute.
Okay, so in the Clinton era we were told by feminists that ANY relationship between a Male boss and a Female subordinate was unfair due to the difference in power . . .
He gets involved nearly 15 years ago with a woman who works for HIS network (not that I can blame him on this one . . . )
Feminists say NOTHING about this abuse of power at that point in time.
And NOW it’s a problem? Okay . . .
From 20 years ago?
Normally I give a Guy a fair, balanced look, into the allegations, but since the man is a Propagandist for the Left, screw him. I hope he loses everything, guilty or not.
Unfortunate that he is an old white rich guy these days.
I’m just going to say it out loud: The only human male to ever exist that has not, at some time in his life, been guilty of “sexual misconduct” was hung on a cross and raised from the dead three days later.
These stories are comical.
For crying out loud, he’s called ‘Les’ Moonves.
If he isnt doing that, then he’s misusing the name.
The guy is worth $300 million dollars.
Men are definitely going to invent a whole new system to deal with women in the future.
