I cannot help but relate to this editorial. It's refreshing to read an editorial that is not sanitized like those in the main stream media.

withdrawing from this corrupt neo-Babylon to tend his own garden...

Vannrox: “I cannot help but relate to this editorial.”

Editorial: “Conservatives will tell you Trump is making the left show their ugly faces and is therefore defeating shitlibs in a game of 4D chess. But my skeptical mind often wonders: Was he put there so the elites could crucify a white man in the seat of his own government for all the world to see? How long will the office be viable?”

Crazy talk by all involved.

We’ve entered a new era in world and political history. Humans are being conditioned to do exactly what an elite want us to do. Just as the wolf was domesticated to serve man, a once proud people are being domesticated to serve an elite. Their government committed treason against them in service of this cause long ago.
Since there’s little a man can do to change the macro scale, perhaps he should focus more on the personal scale – things he can control in his own life. Like withdrawing from this corrupt neo-Babylon to tend his own garden.

Yet throughout history this has been reversed as many times as it happens. Look to history and be encouraged.

Regarding the big or little garden, it is BOTH, not one or the other.........................

As a recovering leftist, I sometimes marvel at conservative pessimists. Although politically sometimes conservatism ends up requiring a certain amount of radical change (basically to reverse the excesses of liberalism), fundamentally conservatism is a defense of the status quo, i.e. the basic structure of Western civilization: the nuclear family, private property, the rule of law, Judeo-Christian ethics. Every a couple gets married and raises their kids together, that is winning for conservatism, and it’s still the norm nearly everywhere. Every time two people sign a contract in good faith, with the intent to mutually benefit, that is a conservative victory, and it’s still the norm everywhere, more places every day. Etc., etc.

This kind of pessimism is unwarranted, IMHO.

In 2008, my world came apart in every way possible, including obama becoming POTUS, and then more of the same in 2010.

By 2011, I had given up on the GOP and by the end of 2012 I had given up on US.

We wouldn’t survive what GW Bush had done and then handed over to obama for his two(!) terms.

The Mike and the Mechanics song “Silent Running“ became my theme song and I was going to ride out whatever happened here in occupied territory as incognito as possible, just a stranger in an ever stranger land.

But then a strange thing happened in 2016, something I didn’t see coming and wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t lived through it: President Donald J. Trump!

Now, as I watch the day’s events unfold, I have hope again and believe our fight is winnable again because of TRUMP!

I think our Truth died when “They” killed JFK and got away with it.

We’ve been on our death march ever since, culminating with we the clueless people electing the unqualified and ineligible, non-natural born citizen obama to be our POTUS.

With Hillary up next, it was over, but then suddenly, unexpectedly, we were dealt the Trump card and now we have a chance to overcome. A very slim chance, but that’s all we need.

The Truth, our Truth, will indeed set US free from the strong delusion we’re living under and now we, the people, have a slim but viable chance to hear our Truth, our whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth about US and “Them”.

To me, only His Return would be more remarkable that that.
